We woke up at 6:45 to have breakfast which was ewwww. After breakfast we left for Palo Duro Canyon. We did a mile hike first which was fun and served as a good warmup. An AWESOME lunch at the trading post followed before we set out on our loooooooooooooooong hike to see the pinnacle known as the Lighthouse. Katie and Kathlynn stole Coach Cayme from Leah and Helen. We made it to the top of the Lighthouse formation. The view was amazing from there. After a few wrong turns on the trail and getting lost for a bit, we found our way back to the bus and watched Agent Cody Banks.
We got back to the hotel where we all needed showers desperately. Then we went to the Big Texan Steakhouse and it was YUM YUM IN MY TUM TUM. We watched as four guys tried to finish the 72oz steak meals. After that, we got stoked off of fudge and cinnamon covered almonds in the parking lot of the local grocery store. Afterwards we headed back to the hotel to swim and blog.
The end because we have to go swim now!
