McDonalds, Mud, and the Mall

     Today, we left for Amarillo at 7:00am. We drove for a good three hours before stopping at a gas station where we took a quick bathroom and snack break. Everybody was immersed in their electronics such as music, games, social media,ect. One of the games we played was called Heads Up. It was really fun and the whole class was involved in the game. Eventually we came on our first adventure and visited the famous Texan art display , Cadillac Ranch. It was amazing to look at the spray-painted cars stuck in the ground. When we walked out onto the field where the Cadillac Ranch art display was, it was extremely muddy. Finally, after an almost full day of riding the bus, we arrived at the hotel, Holiday Inn. We got settled and then, since we had the time, went swimming! There were epic games of ball throwing and races. There was also a hot tub and it was relaxing and hot, of course. We were extremely hungry after that, so everyone took showers and then we went out to the local mall for dinner. The food was delicious and there were great choices in the food court. Finally, before we went back to the hotel to settle in for the night, we had the chance to explore the mall and also to buy stuff! That was a really fun experience. Now we weary travelers are settling in for the night.
